MWALIMU PETER NJOROGE GICHIA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Peter Njoroge Gichia of Rwaitira Village, Mugumoini Sub-location, Gatanga Location, Muranga County (Former teacher Endarasha Boys School, Kahuhia Girls, Maragi Secondary and Kaharati Secondary School).

Son of Rachael Wanjiku Gichia and the late Titus Gichia Njau. Step-son of Beth Muthoni Gichia. Loving husband of Lucy Gathoni Njoroge of Ngoingwa Estate Thika. Father of Annette Waruguru, Titus Gichia and Diana Wanjiku. He was a son-in-law of Mamithi Miitei and Margaret Waruguru. He was brother of Joseph Njau and Jacinta Njau, Reuben Mwaura and Wairimu Mwaura, Zipporah Wambui and Johnson Kuhuyu, Salome Murugi and Andrew Macharia, Sarah Murugi and Muiru Thuku, John Kinyanjui and Waithira Kinyanjui, Dorcas Njeri, Daniel Mwangi, Ephantus Ngone and Brenda Ngone, the late Mary Njeri, late Andrew Njau and late Jeremiah Mwaura. Cousin, uncle and a grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 4.00pm for burial arrangements at his residence in Ngoingwa, Thika and their rural home in Rwaitira Village, Gatanga Location.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati on Thursday 29th October 2020 at 9:00am for funeral and burial service on the same day at their home in Rwaitira Village, Gatanga Location.
