It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and with deep sense of loss and sorrow to announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Claudio Ochiel K’Ochiel.

He was a loving and devoted husband to the late Mama Peres Ndege Ochiel.

Brother-in-law to the late John Odundo of Kisa Location.

Father to Mikal Odera, the late Benta Awuor, Dr.Stephen Ochiel, the late Boaz Ochieng, John Odhiambo, Mary Otieno, Moses Ouma, Eunice Lombo and the late Hellen Mbira.

Brother to Margaret Oburu, Ayub Osedo among many stepbrothers and sisters of Ochiel Ogai descendants, all deceased.

Uncle to Elly Okore, Benjamin Obudi among many others.

Father in law to: Ibrahim Odera, Aggrey Awuor, David Otieno and Patrick Mbira all deceased, Grace, Susan, Grace Ochieng, Walter Lombo, Mary, Damaris and others.

Grandfather to: Ojwang Odera, David Owako, Vincent Ochiel (Sydney), Beatrice Williams (USA), Judith, Lillian, Lefty, Linet, Kennedy among many others. Great Grandfather to many.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary Kisumu on Friday 22nd January 2021 for church service at St. Stephen’s Cathedral Kisumu at 12noon.

A requiem mass will be held at Kadiju Primary School grounds on Saturday 23rd January 2021 from mid-morning.

Mzee will be laid to rest on the same day 23rd January 2021 at his Kadiju home, Buoye Sub location, Kolwa East Location Kisumu County at 2pm.

Covid-19 Pandemic Public Health regulations will be observed.
