Son in-law to (the lates) Nathan Ong’era and Esther Nyarangi of Amasege Village. Father to Hellen, Grace (USA), Meshack, Kemunto, Florence (Poroko Special School), Nyabuto (District Accountant Rarieda), Joyce, Isabella (Principal Oloosirion Girls Sec Sch), the late Onserio, Linet, the late Emily and Nchore. Father-in-law to Areba, the late Charles, Anna, Nchoga, Joshua, Stella, Andrew, Gichana, Rebecca, Mochama and Lorna.

Grandfather to Otwabe, Irene, Moseti, Dennis, Dr. Alex, Emilys, Angela, Hilary, Ian, Machokas, Stephen (Bursar Masimba), Doris, Deborahs, Mogakas, Boyanis, Dr. Thomas, Ogoros, Ong’eras among others. The body leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital on 5th November 2021. The burial will take place on the same day at his home around Engorwa, Mosisa and Nyasike villages.
