It is with profound sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Domiano Wandera Mugasa on 12th January 2021 after short illness.

Son of the late Mzee Yohanna Mugasa Olungo and Mama Flora Nasirumbi Mugeni.

He is survived by his wife Mama Francisca Akochi Mugasa and children Cyprian Ojiambo, Michael Mugasa, Stephen Sulwe, Fidelis Mugasa, Pauline Mugasa, Cornel Wangila, and Mercy Mugasa.

He was preceded by his children Pamela Nabwire, Christopher Manieni, Dorothy Auma, and Patrick Wafula.

Father-in-law of Stella Ojiambo, Christabel Mugasa, Harriet Nabwire, and Joy Obura.

Brother of Mzee Benjamin Nyongesa Mbuya and Mzee Emmanuel Mbuya, and brother in-law of the late Mama Anna Luyera Mbuya and Mama Petronila Mbuya.

Cousin of the Muloris of Mudoma and Sufwes of Sigulu in Samia.

Son-in-law of the late Mzee Herbert Wanjala and the late Mama Gladys Dome and the late Mama Felistas Nerima Wanjala, and a bother in-law of Henry Egesa, Hosea Ojiambo, Kefa Wandera, Willikys Abangi Wanyama, Mary Egesa and Jacinta Adongo, among others.

Uncle, grandfather and great grandfather of many.

Family and friends will hold a fundraising and final meeting on 19th January 2021 at United Kenya Club, State House Road, Nairobi, from 4:00pm to 7.30 pm.

Requiem mass will be held on 22nd January 2021 at Sibale Catholic church at 3:00pm.

Funeral ceremony will be held at Sibale Primary School grounds starting at 9:00am, followed by burial at his home in Nangoga village, Funyula Sub-County, Busia County on 23rd January 2021.
