It is with deep sorrow that we accept the passing on of Mzee Ezekiel Minjo Johana Lwimbu at Nightingale Medical Center, Milimani, Kisumu.

Son to the late Johana Lwimbu and the late Leah Muguva. Husband to the late Delcete Miriam Johnson and Priscilla Awiti. Brother to the late Jedida Kageha, the late Fatuma Abdalla and the late Stanley Lihasi. Father to Anthonette Minjo (USA), Ahuga Minjo (UK), Late Asi Minjo, Jairus Mbarani Minjo (USA), Ruddiger Minjo (Germany), John Lwimbu Minjo, Damaris Minjo, Richard Minjo, Amos Minjo, Milton Minjo, and Alfred Minjo. Father in Law to Chereen Minjo (UK), Jane Minjo UK), Maureen Lwimbu, Richard Alaro, Mercy Minjo, Zenah Jonah, Emily Igaire and Mildred Adamba.

Uncle to Hon Yusuf Chanzu of Vihiga Constituency, Jamila Chanzu, late Musa Asiabugwa, Mrs Zakia lkhwesi, Dr. ldris Luhaga, the late Kegode, Jane Muriande, Arch. Duncan Imbamba, Eddy Ahuga, Clay Lwimbu, Robert Lihasi among others. He was a Grandfather to Michael, Leona, Jayden, Josiah, Asega, Makayla, Suzanne, Matthew, Isaac, Jason, Nadia, Jesse, Fili, Ezekiel, Prudentia, Muguva, Scaline, Michel, Kageha, Nicole, Natalia, Ray, Mwange Jr, Leah and Rupert among others, and great grandfather to many.

The body is lying at St Monica’s Funeral Home. Family and Friends are meeting for funeral arrangements at his home in Gisambai village, Hamisi Sub County of Vihiga County.

The cortege leaves St Monica’s Funeral Home on Friday, 16th April 2021 for his Gisambai home. He will be laid to rest on Saturday 17th April 2021.
