It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Joel Chepkonga (Bigman), of Ossen location; Kaptum sub location, Kabartamas village, which occurred on 10/8/2020 at Kabarnet Referral Hospital.

Husband of Linah Talaa Chepkonga, Babaye Kipruto, Marehemu Kipkemboi, Kiprotich, Kiptalaam, Chepkangor, Jepchumba, Kipsang and Kipkech. He leaves behind 14 grandchildren. Son-in-law of William Cherogony (Dr. Kahawa) and Kabon of Ossen. Father-in-law of Ruth, Naomi, Jane, Tomkys, Millicent and Monicah. Brother of the late Elijah, the late Ruth, the late Job, Martha, the late Rebecca, the late Gideon, the late retired major Samuel, Joseph and Nicholas Chepkonga. Brother-in-law of Frank Chesang, marehemu Paramount chief Eric Cherogony, Solomon Biwott, Jane, Priscah, the late loise, Grace, Sofia, Mary and Salina. Uncle of Peny, Dr. Kiptum, Jemutai Lyn, Gladys Biama, Davies, Jepkoech Kibury, Andrew, Jeptum, and Jesang.

Friends and relatives are meeting for funeral arrangements at Kabartamas village-Ossen daily. There was a harambee to assist with the funeral on Monday 17/8/2020 from 10.00a.m at his home in Ossen.

Prayers and Funeral will be held on Wednesday 19/8/2020 at his home in Lapkangwony-Ossen.
