It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family of Michael Moreka announce the passing on of Michael Moreka Bigutu which occurred on 30th September 2020 at Tabaka Mission Hospital.

Son of the late Mzee Ayub Bigutu Obiko and the late mama Nyoteyo of Mugirango Chache South. Beloved husband of Wilter Mbera and Rose Nyabonyi. Loving father of Kennedy Moreka, Cecilia, Hon. Gideon Moreka, late Jesina, Beatrice, David, Bob, Zakayo, Benson, Jackson, Everlyne, Nyanga’u, Wycliffe, Hesbon and Dominic. Father in law of the late Josephine, Mary, Stella, Zipporah, Amina, Biyaki, Wairimu, Damaris, Caroline, Olpha, Carol, Purity, Phelistus, Machani, late Mogendi & Benard. Brother of late Akama, late Kinaro & late Okiomeri.

Daily family meetings are ongoing at his home in Mugirango Chache South. The main fundraising is being held today.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital mortuary on Thursday 8th October 2020. Burial will be held on Friday 9th October 2020 at his home in Bomarongo Village, Bomonyara Sub-location, South Mugirango, Kisii County.
