MZEE TOM KUNGU OKUDO

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the Owuoyo family announces the demise of Chairman Mzee Tom Kungu Okudo of Kisumu Nyahera, Karombo village, which occurred on Sunday 18/7/2021.

He was son of the late Mzee Thomas Okudo Okore and the late Mama Truphena Okudo. Husband to Anjeline Anyango Kungu, father to Damaris Atieno Kungu, the late Sophia Awuor Kungu, the late John Ouko Kungu and Alfred Oile Kungu. He was brother to Dr. Joab Bodo Okudo, the late Clara Onyango, the late Jane Odera, Rose Owadho, the late Peres Mosi and the late Philip Okore Kich. He was son in-law to the late Richard Sule and the late Mama Leonida Ojwang of Kano Kasule Nyamasaria.

Family and friends are meeting at his home Karombo village, Nyahera sub-location, North Kisumu location Kisumu West sub-county for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Coptic hospital mortuary Luanda on Saturday 31/7/2021 at 7:00 a.m. for a funeral service and burial at his home in Bar Ohinga. The service will be led by Pastor Ayubi Kitoto of AIC Bar Ohinga local church.
