MZEE WELLINGTON OLAYO, OMULUBANGA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dad Mzee Wellington Olayo, Omulubanga of Syakula village, Budalang’i at Tanaka Nursing Home Busia on 25th September, 2020.

He was the son of the late Wandera Mboko and the late mama Angelina Kechula of Mumbira. He was a loving husband to the Late Lay Canon Teresa Olayo and Josephine Olayo. Father to the Late Joanne and Tom Okong’o, Florence & Henry Khalende, the Late David Olayo & Veronica Bwire, the Late Ben Bella Olayo, Bertha & John Omuke, Susan Olayo, James & Jemmima Ogolla, the Late Martin (Kish) & Brenda, Joseph Wandera, Gracemary & Nicholas Karira, Thomas Okoth & Rose, Caroline & Martin Mudambo, Henry Banda, the Late Robert & Jacqueline Ghemmi, Angelina Kechula, Everlyn Apiyo & the Late Murethi Imunde, Pastor Patrick Maloba & Triza, Beatrice & Wanjohi, Bishop John & Ruth Adala, Dennis Wandeyi & Yvonne, Irene & Terra, Juliana Awino & Chris.

Daily meetings are being held at home in Budalang’i and at Kariobangi South Flats FA Grounds from 6pm. There will be a fundraising on Thursday 1st October at All Saints Cathedral at 5.30pm.

The body will leave Tanaka Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 7th October for his final rest at his home in Syakula Village, Bunyala Sub County of Busia County on Friday 9th October, 2020.
