It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mum Naomi Mbandi Mwaniki of Karimari village, Mbeere South Sub-County, Embu County on Sunday, 22nd January 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Enderea Mwaniki Mbiti and co-wife to the late Joyce Ngugi.

Daughter of the late Runji and Ngondi Ndegerie.

Mother to Lucy & Evans Njue, Ephraim and Sarah Njeru, Robert & Rose Ndaru, Dr. Bernice Ndegi and James Gatere, the late Charity Muthoni, the late Anthony Njue, Peter & Jane Mathuri, Eunice & Martin Muigai and Elizabeth Ngithi. Stepmother to Esther and late Nyaga, Peris, Virginia & Ngari, Madrine & Mbogo, Alfred & Naomi, Purity, and Dickson & Catherine.

Sister to the late Jerica Ngugi & late Nyaga, the late Andriano & Margaret Mathuri, Edith Mumbu & Njeru, Anastacia Ndegi & late Nyaga, Dionisia Nditi & Mbia and Andrew & Niceta Kago.

Sister-in-law to the late Harrison & late Eunice Munyi, the late Shunem Joseph Munene, the late Jerusha & the late David Njuki, and the late Betty, Prof Faith & Prof Godfrey Nguru.

Beloved grandmother to Jimmy, Sammy, Ngari, Jenard & Tara, Eric & Anne, Eva & George, Judy, Ephraim, Steve, Lilly, Njoki, Lucy & Japheth, Wairimu, Nderitu, Natasha, Stacey, Zion, Nicole,Timmy, Moses,Toria and Faith. She was blessed with 14 great grandchildren.

Meetings are being held daily at her home in Kiritiri and at CITAM Valley Rd on Thursday 26th January and Friday, 27th January 2023 at 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Wednesday, 1st February 2023 at 9.00am for the funeral service at her home, Karimari village near Kiritiri town from 10.30am.
