NICHOLAS OSAHO ODINDO

1940-2020

We celebrate the life of Nicholas Osaho Odindo, formerly Senior Assistant Commissioner of Kenya Revenue Authority, who left us to be with our Lord on the 16th of December 2020.

Nicholas was the son of the late Mama Antonina Aluoch and the late Mzee Ancentus Odindo of Alego Walure, Siaya County. Son in law to Pastor Paulo Kilonzo and Kirindi Nakizwa of Suji, Same,Tanzania. Hand in hand with Ruth Saburi they created a loving home for their children Hon. Tony Odindo, Kirindi Nakizwa and Antonina Akinyi as well as Andrew Nasongo Chemiat and David Ochieng Okoth amongst many others, all warmly embraced as part of the family. A loving father in law to Patricia Kombe and grandfather of Alex Osaho Odindo and Ruth Tanya Odindo in addition to Henry Saburi’s and Raheli Mkwizo’s children.

Brother to Paul Othieno, the late Lordfica Akwiri, Seraphina Ojode, Teresa Omondi, Sister Teresita Odindo, the late Peter Odhiambo and Maurice Odindo. Step brother to Hilda Auma, Charles Opile,Aloys Oloo and others. Uncle to Joyce Awange and Andrew.

Brother in law to Leonida Othieno, the late William Akwiri, Tanya Odhiambo and the late Margaret Odindo.

Brother in law to the late Navoneiywa Kahindi, Kompeho Shode, Emmanuel Kilonzo, Ntumengwa Kajiru, David Eliejenja, Mapenzi Chambi, Daniel Kachua, Amina Janet, and Gad Paulo Kajiru.

Brother in law to Edward Kombe and Margaret Kombe.

Uncle, grandfather, friend and loved by many.

Nicholas bravely fought a terminal illness for 2 years and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

We bid him farewell, at his home in Walure K’Ochieng, Boro — Siaya on 21st December 2020.
