PASTOR DANIEL RIRO ONGIRI

June 01, 1957 – October 30, 2020

With deep sorrow we regret to announce the passing away of Pastor Daniel Riro Ongiri, which happened on 30/11/2020 at Nairobi Hospital.

He was a pastor of SDA churches in Nyaram District, Nyamira conference. He was husband to Joyce Kerubo Ooko. Father to Joseph Momanyi,  Pr Amoz Omwenga, Jerusha Kerubo and Caleb Gisiora. Grandfather to Dayton, Daylan, Daysha, Faith, Hope, Huldah, Holyne, Loma, Gladden & Pendo.

Father In law to Stella Osoro, Betty Arwong’a, Isaac Momanyi & Esna Okari. He was son to the late Samson Ongiri & the late Jerusha Maeri of Gianche village, Mwabosire sublocation, Manga sub county, Nyamira County. Brother to Dinah Bosibori, Tabitha Bosire (Kitale), Late Samuel Omweni, Late Isaac Nyamweya, Haron, Jane, Kepha, Mark, Evalyn, Eucabeth, Omwansa & Omwengi.

He was cousin to Ondari’s, Nyachienga, Nyabwari, Nyagaka’s, Nyanusi, Kerongos, Bosires, Orinas, Omwengas, Omweris, Niamweyas, Makworos, Riros, Momanyis & others. Korera to Late Peterson Osoro & Alice, Benard Onduko & Florence, Noah Momanyi & Jemimah, Peter Anching’a & Josephine.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral home on 11th November 2020 for a memorial service at Ikonge SDA church and thereafter burial on 12th November 2020 at Gianche Village, Manga sub-county, Nyamira county.
