It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Apostle Peter Awuor Juma of Power of the Word Ministries due to a short illness in the United States of America.

Son of Bishop Dr. Elisha Juma Awuor and Rev Mary Juma (K.A.G Tudor). Grandson of the Late Peter Awuor, Tabitha Dorcas Awuor, the late Philip J Dullo and the late Martha Dullo. Loving husband of Phoebe Shikuku. Loving Father of Elisha Juma Awuor Jr, Rakael Ateshah Awuor, Bruce Awuor, Teysha Awuor, Brayden Awuor. Brother of Gloria Juma (UK), Joyce Juma (USA), Tabitha Juma(USA), Osborn Juma(UK), Martha Juma (USA).

Uncle of Shantah Mueti, Ateshah Mueti, Abigail Buachie, Joseph Buachie, Asaph Mueti and Keenan Wamboga. Nephew of Joshua Awuor, Moses Awuor, Philip Awuor, John Awuor, John Awuor, Sarah Awuor, Anne Awuor, Irene Dullo, Onyango J Dullo, Martin Dullo, Dixion Dullo, James Dullo, Jappheth O. Dullo, Loise Dullo, Hilda Dullo. Son in law of Zablon and Margaret Shikuku. Brother in law of Juliet Shikuku, Collins Shikuku, Adrian Ambetsa, David Shikuku, Moses Mueti, Emmanuel Buachie, Juliet Wakesho, Earlington Mbogo.

Due to the prevailing govt set restrictions, we will not be holding public prayers and meeting. We would also hold a private funeral ceremony service in New York, United States On the 3rd of April, 2020. However, when all the restrictions are lifted, we will hold a public celebration in Kenya of life well lived.

Apostle Peter Awuor Juma you have fought a good fight, you have finished the race and have kept the faith “2 Timothy 4:7”.
