We are saddened to announce the passing on of Peter Gichana Mayaka that occurred on the 13th January 22, 2024 at the Kisii county teaching and referral hospital.

He was Son to the late Mayaka Nyamwaro and Kemunto Mayaka.

Husband to Lucy Nyamoita. Father to the late Dorcas Nyanchama, Linet Kerubo, Veronicah Kemunto, Hindrah Kemuma and Lazarus Mayaka.

Grandfather to Faith, Emmanuel, Nyanchama, Dorcas, Sammy, Avel and Ignitious Gichana.

Brother to the late George Nyanyuki, the late Priscillah Ariri, the late Charles Mochoge, Hannah Nyarinda, the late Samuel Nyamwaro, Florence Mokeira, Nyabuti, Lucas, Morara, Alice, Orina, Monica and Menge.

Brother In-law to the late Nyakundi, the late Ondicho, Isaac, Moindi, Thomas, the late Moraa, Florence, Kwamboka and the late Agnes, the late Florence Mochoge, Sibia Nyanyuki and Rose Nyamwaro.

Uncle to Tom Nyabuti, Chris Geke, Nicholas Mochoge, Seme Nyanyuki, Nyabuti Mogire, Vivian Nyamwaro and others.
