PETER KIMATA KINYANJUI (WA JEDIDA)

We celebrate the life of Peter Kimata Kinyanjui (Wa Jedida), who went to God’s Glory on the 14th December, 2020.

Son of the late James Kinyanjui Kimata and the late Salome Muthoni Kinyanjui. A loving husband of Mary Gathoni Kimata. Brother of Peter Kiega Kinyanjui, John Mukoi Zack (Coordinator of retired teachers 1997 Group Central Region), Joseph Kiwara Kinyanjui of Kura General Merchants and Marunda Kinyanjul who went missing in 1957 to date. Other brothers and Sisters are the late Njoki Gatiba of Ting’ang’a — Kiambu, Samuel Kimata Kinyanjui (Murigu), James Kimata (VS), Gerald Kirika, Ruth Njeri Karomo, Patrick Chege (PC) and Kimata Kinyanjui of Shamata — Nyandarua.

An adored father of Elder Salome Wanjiku Kareithi of Thika, Alice Njeri Chege of Kiserian, Michael Kinyanjui Kimata of Murera Ruiru and the Managing Director of Nawaki Construction Co. Ltd-Nakuru, Reginah Njoki Njogu of Subukia, Emily Wanjiru Muthioma of Limuru, Hellen Wambui Kamani of Karibaribi, Irene Waithera Ndung’u (Nduwa General Supplies Ltd), Catherine Nungari Wachira (Thome Chemicals, Mombasa and Agnes Wanja Kimata-Dubai. An uncle of Joe Kinyanjul (VS), John Kirika (Moderator Mutunguru Sub-Parish), Macharia Kiega, Ambrose Kinyanjui Zack, Gabriel Kinyanjui Kiwara, Kiwanuka Kamau Mukoi, Sr. Bibiana Wahu Kimata of Little Sisters Kitui, Grace Wambui Kangilri, Sr.Wangari Kimata of Sacred Heart of Jesus Nairobi, James Mukoi Kimani-London, Rev. Pastor Francis Ndung’u Kimata and Fracis Kiarle Kimata anong others.

Grandfather of Ken Kirnata Kareithi, Mandera Kimata of Mwathi Chege, Murimi & Associates — Kenindia House Nrb, Sr Jackline Muthoni Warui-Spain, Ken Kimata Kinyanjui, Karen Njeri of Njemu Pig Farming, Mary Gathoni Hinga, Christine Nyanbura Kamani, Nevil Wagura Ndung’u, among others In-law of the late Wa Jedida were the late Josphat Ng’ang’a Kamau and the late Loise Njeri Ng’ang’a whose Children are Emily Wanjiru Wang’ang’a, Michael Njoroge Ng’ang’a and the late Mung’ara Ng’ang’a, among others.

Father-in-law of the late John Kareithi Githuka, Chritopher Chego Gichuru, Naomi Wanjiru Kinyanjui, Sammy Njigu Mbugua, Peter Muthioma Ndung’u, Kenneth Kamaml Kimani, Anthony Ndung’u Wagura and the late Peterson Wachlra Maina.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Monday 21st December 2020 at 9.00am for a requiem Mass at Mutunguru Catholic Parish and thereafter burial at his home Kuri, Kirangi Sub-location, Gatundu South, Kiambu County .
