With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the sudden passing on of Philemon Onyango Olcinda on 17th October, 2020 at the Nairobi Hospital, Nairobi County.

Beloved son of the late Mzee Barrack Okinda Chwero and Mama Pesila Yogo Owere, Kanyang’ii Village, Kabondo East Ward, Homa Bay County. Beloved Husband to Lydia Anyango. Caring father to Valery Atieno, Brian Omondi, Lilian Adhiambo, Reagan Ochieng’ and Dribsa Reyna. Brother to Carolyne (Formerly PSC), late Roselyn Ochieng’, Godkin Okinda, Jane Ojwang, James Okinda (Min.of Water, Kehancha), Mary Oboke, late Barrack Okinda, Joseph Okinda, George and John Okinda. Cherished Nephew to late Julius, Caren, eniffer,Thomas Onyango Chwero, late Harrison Omwaidames Oloo, Margaret Nyaura, Bernadette Onyango and Mary Oloo and many more.

Cousin to late Walter Nyaura, Linah Nyaura, Jack Chwero (Kibos Sec.School), William Chwero of Chwero and Co Advocates, Mercy Chwero (Wan’gapala High School), Bob Omawayi (Mombasa), Sarphan Omwayi (Wangapala Primary School), Duncan Oloo (DO’s Office, Kibera) and Awuor Oloo and many more. Son-in-law to Alphonse James Awino and Anna Achieng Owino of Kano Kabonyo, Kakoth Village. Brother in-law to Gideon, late Richard, late Lawrence, Late Julius, Agneta. Obange,Angeline Adie, Nonis Joyce, Susan,Vincent, Phoe-be, Samson, Wycliffe, Patricia, Jackson and many more. Uncle to Betty, Vincent Orpa,Victor, Kevin, Ronald, Josiah, Steve, and Caro and many more.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his Home in Kiserian home.

Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, 28th October 2020 from 2PM at the Voice of Salvation and Healing Church-Buru Buru, Rabai Road.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home at 7a.m on Thursday, 29th October, 2020. Burial will be on Friday, 30th October, 2020 at his rural home in Kabondo Kasipul, Rachuonyo EastWard, Homa Bay County under the leadership of Voice of Salvation and Healing Church-Buru Buru.
