PHILIP KIPKOECH CHERONO

Dawn: August 19th 1967 – Dusk: January 31st 2021

It is with profound sadness and the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Philip Kipkoech Cherono which occurred on January 31st 2021 in Kitale.

Son of the late Hon. William Kipkurui Cherono and the late Rebecca Jepkemoi Cherono. Husband of Martha Chepkemoi Bomett. Father of William Kenai Kernel Cherono and Aimee Atieno. Grandfather to Nicole Maya. Philip was brother to James Kimutai Cherono, Toroitich Cherono, Chebet Cherono Koitaba and the late Bernard Chepkwony Cherono. He was son-in-law to the late Hon. Eric K. Bomett and the late Winifred Bomett. He was brother-in-law to Maureen Akinyi, Marisela Chepkwony and Ben Koitaba. Philip was a loving Uncle to Cosi, Matthew, Zawadi and Alexander. A nephew and cousin to many.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Friday the 5th of February, 2021 at the family home in Jabali, Uasin Gishu County. A memorial will be held at a later date.
