PHILIP SHEIK KOSGEI

1st January 1974 to 29th September 2020

It is with profound grief and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Philip Sheik Kosgei of Safaricom PLC who passed away on 29th September 2020 at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret.

He was a loving husband to Dinah Jebet Cherop and loving father to Joylne Jepkoge, Cynthia Jeruto, Isaac Kiplagat and Abigail Jemutai. He was Son of the late Mr. Daniel Chepkurui and Mrs. Margaret Kosgei. His siblings are Barnaba Kosgei, Daudi Kosgei, Andrew Kosgei, Jane Kosgei, James Kosgei, Sarah Kosgei, Hosea Kosgei, Philemon Kosgei and Mathew Kosgei. He was son-in-law to Mr. Raphael Keino Cherop, Mrs. Scola Kabon Cherop and Susana Kobilo Cherop. He was brother-in-law to Kenneth, George, Moses, Daniel, Ben, Betty,Viola, Beatrice,Alice, Mercy and Emily. He was , uncle to Chiri, Kibiwot, Kimutai, Kipkoech, Kipruto,Abigael,Diana, Limoo, jeroo and many others.

The cortege will leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital on Thursday 8th October, 2020 at 8:00 am. Burial will take place at his home Plateau, Lamaon Village, Kongasis Sub Location, Kipsinende location, Ainabkoi Constituency, Uasin Gishu County the same day.

Fare thee well, till we meet again.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
