We regret to announce the passing on of Purity Wangechl Wachira of Sakochem Pharmaceuticals on 1st October 2020 at War Memorial Hospital In Nakuru.

Beloved wife of Paul Wachira Kung’u (Sakochem Pharmaceuticals Nakuru). Mother of Shirleen Mary Wanjiku of MoiTea Girls High School Kericho and Cleophas Kung’u Wachira of Christ the King Primary School Nakuru. Daughter of the late Hellen Wanjiru Wahome (Elena) of Thunguma Nyeri. Daughter-in-law of the late Francis Kung’u Kangethe and Mary Waniiku of Waguthu village, Kiambaa. Sister of Ann Wahome (Agri-gunny), Josophat Wahome (ICEA LION), Elizabeth Wahome (Sedoso) Jackson Wahome (Agri-gunny). Sister-in-law of Simon Kimanl (Radar technologies), Mary Munjua (DND), Linda Nkatha (Melvin Jones), George Kangethe, Peter Kung’u (Printer Nairobi) and Naomi Kabunyi (St Marys’), Dr. Samuel Kung’u (Sako Pharmaceuticals) and Rose Mwangi ( JKUAT MA), Naomi Kung’u (Sako Pharmaceuticals), Michael Mbugua, John Kung’u (Kinango TVET) and Susan Wambul KSL Nairobi ) and Alice Kung’u (Sako Pharmaceuticals). Aunt of Kuria, Taslia, Scofield, Jessica, Shirleen, Leroy among others.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at her residence in Lanet (Mireri Estate) opposite 3KR barracks, Mheshimiwa hotel Nakuru and at their rural home at Waguthu Kiambu.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital on Thursday 8th October 2020 at 7:00am for a funeral service at St Stephens Waguthu Catholic Church from 11:00 am on the same day. The body will be laid to rest at their rural home in Waguthu next to the ACK Waguthu Church.
