It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rachael Wambui Joel.

Wife of the late Joe Nduruhu Gichungu. Daughter of the late Oreth Mwaura (Rubeca) and the late Tabitha Wangeci. Sister of Penina Nyambura Kimani, Late Elijah Mwenda, Late Geofrey Kamau, Mary Wanini, Late Francis Chege and Stanley Njoroge. Step-sister of Daniel Chege and Late Rachael Wambui.

Mother of Late Hannah Wanjiku Mwangi, Late Tabitha Wangechi, Julius Kinyanjui, (Chania Genesis), Julia Njeri Kinuthia Formerly (Barclays Bank), David Mwaura (Rockey), Late Robinson Nganga, Irene Nyambura (Formerly Makuyu Girls), Fredrick Mwenda (Chania Genesis) and Margret Waithira.

Mother-in-law of Annah Wanjiku Kinyanjui, Late Joyce Wamaitha, Naomi Mukami, Rachel Waithira and Beth Ngina Mwenda and grandmother and great grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Thursday 14th July 2022 at 8.00. Thereafter funeral service at A.C.K St. Stephens Church Thare at 10.00 am and burial follows at her home Gathuthu Village Kiria-ini Location, Gatanga Sub-County, Muranga County.

“She has fought a good fight, ran and finished the race and kept the faith” may her soul rest in peace. Amen
