It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Rachel Wambui Ndegwa of Britain Insurance Co. on 17th November, 2020.

Wife to Duncan Ndegwa Giathi of Nairobi Water & Sewerage Co. Ltd. Mother to Andrew Mungai, Clarence Koinange, Charles Kiongera and Maxwell Kimani. Daughter of the late Josphat Njoroge Kimani (Koinange) and late Elizabeth Waithira Njoroge. Daughter in law to the late Andrew Giathi Kiongera and the late Elizabeth Gathoni Giathi. Sister to Lucy Wanjiru Koinange (USA), late Peter Kimani, Samuel Mwicigi, Margaret Wairimu John Kiiru (Blackie).

Sister in law to Maria Njambi Kariuki, Francis Waweru Giathi, Joseph Wanganga Mungai, Dominic Njehu Giathi, Anastacia Wariara, Patrick Ndung’u and Veronicah Nyanjuru. Aunt to Michael Mweru Giathi and Caroline Gathoni Wang’ang’a, Elizabeth Waithera and Mariana Njoki among others.

Friends are meeting daily at her home in Clayworks off 7th Close at 4pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
