It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Our dear Mom Rachel Wanja Chabari Mutajo after a short illness which occurred on 5th March 2022 while at home.

She was wife to the late Geoffrey Mutajo Mukunga of Kirumi Village, Maara Sub County. Daughter to Late Mr. Jackson N Chabari Nkuuri & Pricilla.

Mother to Faith Karimi, Wilfred Kinyua Mutajo, Sabina M. (USA), Ashton M (USA), Carol K. (USA), and the late Lucy Muthoni & the late Patrick Gitari.

She was mother-in-law to Muthoni Kinyua & Collins Makasa.

Grandmother to Gacheri, Sharon, Kawira, Muthoni, Darnelle, Dorien, Darlene, Destiny, Isaac, Vanessa, Marlene, Nelson,Allex, Kioni among others.

Sister to the late Eunice Mukwamugo Nyagah, Late Miriam Muthoni Marangu, Late David Murungi Chabari, Late Simon Kithinji Chabari, Late Charity Kaimuri Mpungu, Gladys Ruguru Ishmael, Mercy Kagendo Miriti, Arthur Mbae Chabari, Late Mary Kaari Chabari, George Nyagah Jackson & Ann Njeri Jackson.

Cousin to Kithinji, Mbae Justo, Late John Justo, Miriti, Ireri, Mutegi, Njeru, Muthoni, Lydia, Njeri, Karla / among others. The cortege will leave Chogoria Mission Hospital Mortuary on Saturday, 12th March 2022 at 9am for funeral burial ceremony at the family farm at Kirumi Sub-location, Maara Sub County Tharaka Nithi County.
