RAPHAEL MUNENE GITONGA (MY FRIEND)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Raphael Munene Gitonga (formerly of the Ministry of Agriculture Nyeri) of Kaiguri Village, Karundu location, Tetu in Nyeri County, which occurred on 10/11/2021 at KNH – Private Wing.

Loving husband to the late lucia Wambui. Son of the late Gitonga Gichangi & Pamela Muthoni. Son-in-law to the late John Kimondo & Hannah Wairimu. Loving dad to Agnes Njoki, the late Rose Wairimu, the late Peter Gitonga, George Kimondo, John Ndegwa, Ann Muthoni, Martha Wanjiku and Robert Murithi.

Brother to the late Hannah Muthoni, the late Veronica Wangari, John Ndegwa, Asunta Nyakweya, Paul Karaya, the late Lawrence Kanyina (Wamiko),Virginia Wanjiru, the late John Njigua and Viriginia Wanjiru. Brother-in-law to Wothaya, Gatero, Wamuchia, Muturi, the late Wachira.

Father-in-law to Christopher Chege, Samuel Muthigani, Catherine Wangechi, Aggripina Mugure, Teresia Wanjiru and Miriam Wanjiku. Grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Family and friends have been meeting daily at his home in Kaiguri Village from 4.00pm to 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangement.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home-Nyeri on Friday at 8.30am, for mass service and final interment at his home.
