REGINA NYOKABI MACHARIA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Regina Nyokabi Macharia on Saturday 26th September, 2020 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Daughter of the late Njoroge Gathungu and the late Wanja Njoroge of Nakuru. She was the wife of Macharia Wambugu. Sister of the late Paul Mwangi of Gathaithi, late Joseph Kamau of Nyahururu, late Ann Wachuka of Kinangop and Grace Wanjiku of Gathaithi Nyeri.

Mother of Wambugu, late Maina, Wandere, Gathungu, Kamau, late Peter and Ngatia. Daughter-in-law of the late Moses Wambugu and late Rose Warima of Muruguru in Nyeri. She was sister-in-law late Wandere, Kamau,N joki, late Ngatia and late Muthoni.

Mother-in-law to Makena, Kathure, Kagwiria, Beatrice, Gakii, Ntinyari and Kendi. Grandmother of Macharias Wanjikus, Nyokabis and others.

Friends and family members are meeting at her Gitimbine home, Paramount hotel and Prince opposite Downtown petrol station Meru town. The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Thursday 1st Oct, 2020 at 9.00 a.m for a funeral service and burial at her home, Gitimbine near Meru town, off Meru-Embu road.
