RETIRED SENIOR CHIEF JAMES PUNDEN CHEPLENG’IN

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden death of the Retired Senior Chief James Punden Chepleng’in of Churo Location in Baringo County, which occurred on 8th September, 2020 at his Churo home.

The fifth child of the Late Chief Chepleng’in Murloghon & the Late Chepochepurkoi Chepleng’in. Husband of Mary Punden and Susanna Punden. He was blessed with twelve Children: Timothy, Amos, Brian, Caren and Collins; and Charles, Felix, Rophence, Hosea, Leonard, Alex and Joy. Brother of Chelal, Lomerii, Kamining, Kamama, the Late Chepkukat, the Late Losute and Kapanat, and forty four others. He was a grandfather, a relative, and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his Kipowtin Home in Chepelow Village in Churo. Other meetings are happening at Nakuru, Kabarnet and Nanyuki.

The cortege leaves Kabarnet County Referral Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 19th September, 2020 at 6am. Funeral Service and burial will take place on the same day at his Kipowtin Home in Chepelow Village from 10am, Churo being in Tiaty East Sub-County of Baringo County.
