REV. BISHOP WELLINGTON SANGA TSUMA

In humble appreciation of God’s will, the Methodist church in Kenya-Coast Region Conference announces the passing on of Rev. Bishop Wellington Sanga Tsuma on 26th August 2020. Until his death, Bishop Sanga was the founder of Devolution in the Methodist Church in Kenya and served as the 1st President of the Coast Region Conference.

He has left behind his wife Patience Nyevu Chengo, his Children Alex Tsuma, Andrew Mwavita, Brown Kupalia, Dorah Mkambe, Margaret Medza, Peter Chengo and Lydia Mnyazi. His grandchildren Jerry, Japheth, Patience, Amuel, Alicia, Abigael, Myles and Abraham. He was brother to Mwambui Tsuma (late), Habert Mwangome (late), Stanley Mwarumba, Samuel Mwagwabi, David Mwangolo, Botson Mtuvivi (late), Nicholas Mwawato (late), and Doris Nimbui (late).

The cortege will leave Jocham Hospital Mombasa on 4th September 2020 for requiem mass at Mtopanga Methodist Church at 1:30 pm and back to Jocham Hospital by 5:00pm.

Burial service will be at Maandani Primary School ground near his home on Saturday 5th September 2020 from 10.00am. The body will be laid to rest at Ribe Thomas Wakefield Methodist Church compound.
