The Archdiocese of Nairobi, announces the death of Rev. Fr. Prof Francis Gachunga Wamburu.

Son of the late Basil Wamburu Gachunga and the late Bernadette Wathira Wamburu. Brother to Cecilia Nyambura, Josephat Kamau, Andrew Kibugi, Elizabeth Kihara, Leonard Ndichu, Pascalina Wanjiku, the late Triza Muthoni and the late Sr. Lucy Nyokabi.

Brother-in-law to Stephen Mugo, Daniel K. Njogo, Jane Kamau, Lucy Wambui, Florence Njambi, Kariuki Gathuo and the late Charles Njau.

Uncle, cousin and grandfather to many.

The Requiem Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Msongari Grounds on Monday, 18th Oct., 2021 at 10am. Interment thereafter at Msongari Clergy Cemetery.

The funeral ceremony will be aired live on Capuchin TV and Livestreamed through the Archdiocese of Nairobi Facebook page.
