It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Robina Gesare Mokaya on 26th January 2022.

Daughter of the late Okari and late Kwamboka. Loving wife of the late Peterson Mokaya Abuta. Co-wife of the late Ann and Monica Nyakerario. Adoring mother of Askah, Martha, the late Ibrahim, Ann, Prisca, Kennedy, Concepta, Tom, Leonida and Violet. Step-mother of Milkah, Chief James, Yobesh, Salome, Mary, Esther, Phylis, Fridah among many others.

Sister of the late Mairura and the late Gesimba. Cousin of former Mayor Okari, Mose, Oresi, the late Mary, Nyabera, Mosota, Jememah, Jane and many others. Niece of Bosigisa’s. Sister-in-law of the late Gesare, the late Moraa, the late Alexina late, Lucia, the late Matundura the late Moindi, among many others.

Mother-in-law of Okindo, Mosota, Jane, Everyne, Musamali, Ogato, Carolyne, Otiso, Mary, Obed, Ogamba and many others. Loving grandmother of Zipporah, Ronard, Nimrod, Abraham, Elvis, Sharon Okari, Philip, Felix, Mercy, Dancan, Sharitah, Clifford, Whitney, Gekonge, Sharon, Morgan, Darius, Calvin among many others.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home at Nyatieko Location, Mwamosioma Sub-location, Kianyakwara village, Mokaya’s home from :pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kisii Level 6 Funeral Home on Friday, 4th February 2022 and thereafter for burial at her Kianyakwara home.
