ROSE WANJIKU THAIYAH

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Rose Wanjiku Thaiyah, which occurred on Monday 6th September 2021 at RFH Specialist Hospital after a short illness bravely borne. She hails from Ndumbuini, Uthiru Ward, Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late Moses Thaiyah & Peris W. Thaiyah. Cherished mother of Fiona Wambui Thaiya, Eric & Yvonne Njogu and Eric Thaiya. Beloved grandmother of Andy and Shanice among others. Adored auntie and friend of many.

Sister of the Late Samuel Mbuti & Lucy Mbuti, Loise Kanio, Mary Mwangi, Esther & Gakumo, Godfrey & Alice Njenga, Winnie Thaiya, Eunice & Njoroge, Johnson & Esther Thaiya, Joseph & Virginia Thaiyah, Andrew & Joyce Thaiya and Charles & Late Eva Nginyo Kamau.

The cortege leaves Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral Home, Mbagathi Road on Friday 10th September 2021 at 9am. Funeral Service will be held at ACK St. Mary’s Church Kabete (Ndumbuini) at I lam followed by interment at Our Family farm, Ndumbuini.

Family & friends are meeting daily at her brother Charles Thaiya’s home at Ndumbuini, Uthiru Ward.

Burial service shall be conducted in strict adherence with MOH Covid- 19 protocols.

“Rose fought the good fight and won the Race.” The Name of the Lord be Praised. Amen.
