We regret to announce the demise of Rosemary Muthoni Mbugua, that occurred on Monday 15th January, 2024 at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital after a long ailment bravely borne.

Daughter to the late William Chabari and the late Anina Nyakaro.

Wife to the late George Mbugua Kirori (Geombuki). Co-Wife to Mary Wanjiku.

Mother to the late Richard Kirori, James Kaberia, Rosevelyne Njeri, the late Aquinas Gitonga, Mary Kaimuri, the late Jackline Njeri, Petronilla Karegi, the late Rose Wairimu, Stephen Mwaura, Anthony Nyaga, Nancy Wambui, Annevelyn Njoki, Esther Wanjiku and the late Martin Kirori.

Mother-in-law to Cecilia, Judy, Francis, Mathew, Juliana, Mercy, Rufus, Gichuru, Nancy and Eva.

Sister to the late Mukwanyaga, the late Vitalis, the late Kiraithe, the late John, Sarafina, Carolina, Bernard, Njagi, Kageni, Nyaga, Muriuki.

Sister-in-law to Veronica, Ithima, the late Sela, the late Stella, the late Murungi, the late Mukwanjiru, the late Mugambi, Silvia and Kawira.

Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Mortgage, Section Nine Home, House No. 70 Thika from 6.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave K.U Referral Hospital Mortuary-By Pass on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and interment at her home in Juja, Ithuri, behind Energy Petrol Station (former Kareme).
