RTD SENIOR SERGEANT JOSEPH WAMBUGU KINYORI

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved Retired Senior Sergeant of the Kenya Defence Forces Joseph Wambugu Kinyori which occurred on 11 August 2020 at KNH after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Wairu Kariuki. Husband of Janiffer Mutete Mbavu. Father of Laban Mbavu, Veronicah Wairu, Chrispin Kariuki, Patrick Kinyori and Caroline Nthenya. Grandfather of Janiffer Mutete, Liam Wambugu and Alvin Blessings. Brother of Teresiah Wangu Kariuki, CPA Patrick Kinyori (Kinyori & Associates), James Gachau Kariuki (Neptune Hotel MSA and Susan Wambugu (Coop Bank). In-law of Grace Nthenya Mbavu, Joseph Mbavu, Advocate Nelius Kinyori, Daniel Munyilu Musango (EGM Securities),the Mwashigadi (Mbololo Voi). Uncle of Christine Wairu Kariuki (Shivish) among others.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are at his home in Mwiki and Kahawa Sukari Nyahururu road.

There will be a funeral service on 17th August 2020 at 5.00-6.00pm at St Dominic Savio Parish Mwiki.

The burial is scheduled for Tuesday 18th at Langata Cemetery. Requiem mass will be at St Michael Otiende Catholic Church at 11.00 am and thereafter the procession to the grave site.
