It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ruth Wanza Muindi, which occurred on Friday 19th March 2021 while undergoing treatment at Mater Misericordiae hospital, south B, Nairobi.

Beloved wife of Simon Muindi Ngumbi of Kanaani village, Kithendu Sub-location, Kithimani location, Yatta Sub-county, Machakos County. Adored mother of Kenneth Muindi (Formerly Blackwood Hodge), Florence Mutuku, Annastassia Muthama (Mama Ngumbi Bata Shop Kitui), Rosemary Muindi (UoN), Joyce Waweru (SBAA), Agnes Kyalo (Kanaani Academy), Carolyn Muithya (SBAA) and Josphine Muindi (SBAA).

Daughter of the late Peter Mativo Ngao and the late Naomi Mutete Mativo of Kathyoli village, Mbiuni location. Sister of the late Mary, Joseph Musau, Phillip Musyoka, Paul Munyao, Nicholas Mutuku, Simon Kasyoki, Mbithe and the late Ngao. Mother-in-law of Emma Ngumbi (Our Lady of Mercy Sec. School- South B), Titus Mutuku (Formerly Telkom), Judah Muthama (Formerly Roads Kiwi), Stephen Waweru (NYS), Stephen Kyule (USA) and James Kilonzo (EPRA). Sister-in-law to the late Elizabeth Mwongeli, the late Simon Musau, the late David Kitila, Serah Wayua, the late Sammy Muasa, the late Onesmus Musyoki, the late Kanini Ngumbi and Bernard M. Ngumbi.

A proud grandmother to Arnold, Diana, Keneth, Victoria, Brownson, Mbete, Henry, Stanley, Nyambura, Pauline, Mike, Kelvin, Hilda, Njeri, Dennis, Peter, Naomi, Daniel, Philemon (USA), Martha (USA), Keren, David, Patience, MarkTony, Jemimah, Angel, Ethan and great grandmother to Reuben, Simon, Taji, Angel, Ivanna, Kyle, Gweth, Tito, Anwyll and Samara.

The cortege leaves Mater Misericordiae Hospital, on Thursday 25th March, 2021, at 6.30am for a funeral service and burial at her family home in KanaaniVillage, Kithendu Sub-location Kithimani location, Yatta Sub-county, Machakos County.
