It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Sabena Chemesunde Misoi which occurred on 24th May, 2023 at Top Hill Hospital – Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, after a short illness.

Daughter to the late Arap Kogo and the late Mary Cheposiyo.

Caring and loving wife to Silvester Kipng’etich Misoi. Mother to Mary Chemutai Maiyo, Richard Kiprop Misoi (Ng’omwo Primary), Stanley Kipkosgei Ng’etich, Rose Chepkurgat Too (Besiebor Primary), Eunice Chemeli Cheruiyot (Rwanda), Alice Cheptanui Mogeni and the late Regina Chepleting.

Mother-in-law to Monica Misoi, Tecla Ngetich (Chepkumia Primary), the late Daniel Maiyo (formely of Telkom Kenya), David Too (Kenya Police), Samson Cheruiyot (Rwanda) and the late Isaac Ongata Mogeni (formerly of KDF).

Sister to the late KimagutArap Maiyo, Magdalena Chelimo Samoei, Elizabeth Chesang Limo and Raphael Kiptarus Arap Tuwei.

Sister-in-law to the late David Kipchirchir Imengit, the late Thomas Kiprono Busienei, John Malakwen Arusei, the late David Kipkoech Samoei, Mark Kiptum Murrey, Basilisa Tarkwen Bitok and Peter Kimisik Sing’oei.

Grandmother to Susan, Enock (Businessman), Ezra, Evans (Equity Bank), Sophie (UK), Stellah, Jackline (Kipchimatt Enterprises), Evans, Naum (Egerton University), Mercy, Daisy, Amon, Desmond, Brian, Billy (Mt. Kenya University), Belton (Kitale Polytechnic), Benson, Joy, Bravin, Sharon (Police Sacco), Purity (Moi University), Amon (Catholic University), Nickson (USA), Gibson (Kabarak University), Jacob (Multimedia University) and Belinda (KDF). Great-grandmother to Chebet, Chero, Natalia, Jason, Jesse, Ivyian,Amy, Chloe, Ivana and Vaughn. Beloved Mum and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Racecourse Hospital Mortuary – Eldoret, on Thursday 1st June, 2023 for the burial service, which will be held on Friday 2nd June, 2023 at her home in Kosachei Village, Sugoi Location, Turbo Sub-county in Uasin Gishu County.
