SAMMY JOEL OMAMI

Sunrise: 24th January, 1954 – Sunset: 1St September, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of our most beloved Sammy Joel Omami of Eldoret, which occurred on 1st September, 2022, at St Lukes Hospital – Eldoret after a long illness.

Sammy was the second born child to the late Joel Omueba Musee (Omumbatse) and the late Agnetta Bunuka (Omung’ale). Brother to the late Brian, the late Mary, the late Bernard, the late Nechesa, the late Barasa, Peninah, Christine, Frank, John, Fanice and Maximilla.

Husband to Prof. Elizabeth Nabwile of University of Eldoret. Father to Raymond, Andrew, Kennedy, Mike, Linda and Brian. Father-in-law to Judy, Mercy and Brenda.

Grandfather to Handel, Heidi, Gavi, Gia, Gio, (Chairman) Tiara,Yasmin, Joshua, Jerry,Willy and Fle. An in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 9th September, 2022, at 8.00am for viewing at his Rural Estate home in Eldoret.

Funeral and burial service will be held at his home in Riche, Mumias, on 10th September, 2022, from 8.00am.

Chairman, we loved you dearly and we will miss you very much.
