It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Saraphina Wanjiku Kabura of Gatunguru-Mathioya-Murang’a County which occurred on 26th December, 2020.
Loving wife of John Kabura Mbagi of Mbarina Bar & Restaurant Gikoe. Sister to Cecilia Njeri Thiong’o and Francis Chege Kuria.

Mother to Julius Maina (Businessman Nairobi), Samuel Kuria (Businessman), Peter Ngarega (Formerly Postal Corporation of Kenya), Jane Wairimu (KNH), Anthony Chege (RTI), Lydiah Wanjiru (Coast General Hospital), James Karina (KDF), Julia Wanja (Heshemy Interiors), Cecilia Njeri (Teens Consultant/Counselling) and Martin Wanjii (KDF).

Mother-in-law to Beatrice Gakenia (Aga Khan Special Unit), Mary Kuria (DTB), Margaret Wambui, Margie Dawn Wanjiru (Hosanna), George Ndebu (Coast General Hospital), Emily Wangarl, Cyrus Muriithi (Director-The Sun Weekly) and Priscillah Nyambura.

She was a blessed Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Magomano Hotel from 3.00.pm. and at her home Gatunguru, Mathioya, Murang’a County for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves St. Michael Funeral Home, Mathari Hospital Nyeri on 2nd January, 2021 at 7.00a.m for funeral service at Gikoe Catholic Church at 10.00a.m and thereafter the burial will take place at her home in Gatunguru, Kahiga Village.
