SHELMITH NJERI KAIRU (SNR.) & SHELMITH NJERI KAIRU (JNR.)

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing of our loved ones Shelmith Njeri Kairu (Snr) and Shelmith Njeri Kairu (Jnr) of Mutathi-ini Village, Gaaki, Nyeri.

Shelmith Njeri Kairu (Snr) is wife of the late George Kairu Waweru. Mother of Mjr. (Rtd) Ephraim Kihara (USA), Hon Jayne Kihara (MP Naivasha), Grace Kairu (formerly of Orbit Chemicals), Washington Waweru (USA), Purity Wamahiu, Hon Gladys Kairu (MCA, Nakuru) and Alice Njoki (USA). Shelmith Snr was step mother to Lydia Wanjiru, Rose Mucheru, Charles Waweru, Beatrice Waceke and the late Jedidah Karanja. Grandmother and Greatgrandmother to many.

Shelmith Njeri Kairu (Jnr) is mother of Sean Kihara Kamau, daughter of Grace Kairu and sister of Patrick Michael Kairu (USA). Cousin and Aunty to many.

Funeral Meetings are taking place in Nairobi at St. Andrews Church on Monday to Wednesday at 5:30pm, Naivasha at Pyramid Hotel and Nyeri at the family home in Mutathi-ini.

The cortege leaves Outspan Nyeri on 13/11/2020 at 8am for the burial ceremony in Mutathi-ini village.
