It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Simon Cheburet Cherutich which occurred on 21st September, 2022 at St. Luke’s Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital – Eldoret.

Son of the late Cherutich Lotodo and the late Sote Cherutich. Loving husband to Rhodah Kobilo Cherutich.

Brother to the late Willy Chesang. Step-brother to Thomas Kimaikong.

Father to Stella, the late Kiprop, the late Judy, Mary, Daniel, Phyllis, Sally, Kangogo, Alice and Christine. Father-in-law to Dr. William Koros, William Kipkurui, Mercy Jepchirchir, Fredrick Chepkirwok, Mathew Kibett, Patrick Kigen and Peris Ntinyari. A grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Kapkombe Koroshechun village, in Nakuru: 0722578664, Nairobi: 0723371115, Kabarnet and Marigat: 0723462218, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 1st October 2022 at 8:00am for funeral service and burial to be held at his residential home Koroshechun village in Kapkombe, Baringo North Sub-County the same day.
