SIMON MUGENDI MIRITI (KOOME)

It is with deep sorrow that we (Team RohoSafi) wish to announce the passing on of Simon Mugendi Miriti (Koome) who was a Teacher at St. Anselim Mururi Boarding School, which occurred on 22nd February 2021, through a road accident at Nithi Bridge.

Husband of Philomena Nkirote. Son of the late Kingstone Miriti and Elosy Wanja. Son-in-law of Kaberia Kiunga and Jane Kaberia. Brother of Eric Muthomi, Elizabeth Kawira and Charles Mawira. Brother-in-law of Ntinyari, Gatwiri, Wendy, Kelvo and Murithi. Cousin of Jose, Muthomi, Murugi, Nkatha, Munene, Gatwiri, Bundi, Karani, Makena, Njeru, Mugendi, Mwenda, Mwende, Njagi, Mukarni, Mucheri, Dennis, Gatinku, among others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their home Kagumo Sub-location, Mwonge Location.

The cortege leaves Lampedusa Mortuary Chuka, on Friday 5th March, 2021, for burial at Kagumo, Mwonge location, Tharaka Nithi County.
