SPERANZA NYAGUTHII MWANGI

18th October, 1939 – 30th April, 2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our dear Matriarch, Speranza Nyaguthii Mwangi on 30th April 2022 after a short illness.

Speranza was the eldest daughter to Ernesto Muriithi Githui (late) and Consolata Ngunju (late).

Adored wife to Absolom Hiram Mwangi, loving mother to Joe & Rozie Wainaina, Caesar & Anne Muriithi, Rose Anne Mwangi, Mary Angela & Chris McCorkle and Jimmy & Njeri Irungu.

She was a grandmother to Samantha, Shanice, Trevor, Zawadi, Angela, Jordan, Jude, Wanja and Njeri, great grandmother to Lani Maria. She was sister to Placidia (late), Wachira, Kiragu (late), ldah, Mugo, Wanjiru, Gaiko and Nicholas.

Loved in equal measure by her in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday 5th May 2022 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Ridgeways along Kiambu Road at 10.00 am.

The funeral will be held in Mununga Village, Kigumo Constituency, Murang’a County on Friday 6th May at 11.00 am.

The cortege will leave M.P Shah Hospital at 7.30am.
