It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved Mama Sprina Achieng Odira formerly of Immigration Department J.K.I.A which occurred on. 29/09/2021 at Kijabe Hospital.

Daughter of the late Isaac Odongo and the late Silpa Adebe of Wariga Mfangano Island Suba Homabay County. Wife to the late Richard Odira. Mother to Jeremiah Ogolla, Zacharia Onyango, Beatrice Wiria Atieno, Kilion Mamra, Nikanor Oweru (Don) and Winnie Akinyi. Grandmother to Hillary, Tecklar, Cynthia, Debra, Gillian, Michelle, Bill, Aphlyne, Bradley Nadia, Liam, Dalia and Kendra. Sister to the late Daniel Odongo, the late Mama Real, the late Ezekiel Odongo, Sarah Okumbe (USA) Karen Jack, the late Sigulu and the late Yukabeth.

Mother-in-law to Ken Nyamita, Joan Ouko, Monicah Muendo and Ancuta (UK). Daughter-in-law to the late Nikanor Oweru, Mama Eslina and Mama Aska. Sister-in-law to the late Ogolla, Malaki Jonyo, the late Rehuma,Aska, the late Elsa and Naftali Ojuu. Co-wife to Florence Odira and step-mother to Moli. Doctor, Akech, Agido, Nyaminya and Okoth. Cousin to Jonah, Plister, Salome, Hulda, Rael, Kwasi and many others. Auntie to Akumu, Dume, Digo, Margret, Bernard, Hosbert, Ademba among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at family residence in Utawala.

There will be church service at Embakasi Central SDA Church on 20/10/21 beginning 3pm.

The cortege leaves for Kadem Migori County on 21/10/21 and burial will take place on Friday 22/10/21 at the same location.

Harambe to cover for hospital bill and funeral expenses shall take place on Saturday 16/10/21 at the family residence in Utawala near Capital Mall.
