STANLEY ELIJAH WIMBIA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, retired Education Officer; Mzee Stanley E. Wimbia (Munene), Ithe wa Mundara of Gacharaigu Location, Muguru Ward, Kangema Sub-county, Murang’a County, after a short illness.

Son of the late Elijah Mundara Muiru and the late Esther Gachambi Mundara. Husband to the late Hellen Waitherero Wimbia formerly of Kirogo Health Centre. Brother to the late Hezron Muiru, the late Kezia Nyambura Kagu, Monicah Wanjiru, Hezeliphone Njeri Muturi, the late Lucy Wanjiru, Karen Muguru Guchua, the late Gladwell MugureWahome and the late Jane Wambui.

Father to the late Ainsworth Mundara, the late Renson Kiiru, Hezron Muiru, Elizabeth Wangechi (USA) and Catherine Wimbia (Machakos T.I. Blind). Father-in-law to Josephine Mundara (Matopeni Pry. School, Ruiru) Cecilia Kiiru (Riamukurwe Pry. School, Nyeri) and Eva Muiru (Beaufort Insurance Agency).

Grandfather to Mburu & Nyambura, Hellen (Britam), Eric (Auto Express) & Hannah, Jackline (Brookside) & Samuel,Wimbia & Evalyne, Munene, Kimani (BuildX) & Peninah (Kevian), Waitherero (Stima Sacco) & Stephen, Cynthia (Sanlam), Alex, Grace, and Njambi. Great-grandfather to Kimberly, Teni,Angela, Kent, Briana, Stephliz and Jaylan.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangement at Homelands Inn, from 5.00pm starting from 12th August, 2022 and at his Gacharaigu home.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati (Thika Road), on Friday 19th August. 2022 at 8.00am followed by a funeral service at ACK St. Luke’s – Gacharaigu Parish Church. Thereafter the funeral and burial rites will follow at his farm in Gaika Village.
