STELLA KARIMI MWENDA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Stella Karimi Mwenda which occurred on Saturday 18th June, 2022 while undergoing treatment at St.Theresa Kirua Mission Hospital, Meru.

Beloved wife of Mr. Cyprian Mwenda (Isiolo). A loving mother to Buuri Mbobua, the late Peter Muthuri, John Kiogora, Gideon Gitonga, Greyson Muthamia (Naperville IL), Josephine Kagendo (Gladwin MI), Joshua Kathurima, Andrew Kimathi & Patrick Koome. Mother-in-law to Alice Buuri, Rose Makena, Rose Nthiga, Millicent Kanana, John Stegeman (Gladwin MI) & Faith Ncekei.

Adored daughter to the late Samson M’Mugambi and the late Salome M’Mugambi of KauruVillage, Kithirune Location, Imenti Central in Meru. Daughter-in-law to the late Wilson M. Ruciaka and the late Sarah Ncurubi of Mea Village, Laare in North lgembe.

Stella was a sister to the late Gerishon Muthamia, Late Mirriam Kajuju, Lawrence Kiruki, Late Gregory Mutai, Late Wilfred Mbaya, Edward Gikuria, Catherine Ncekei and Muriuki. Sister in-law to Francis Kiunga, Late Julius Kithure, Late Nkojai and Gideon Murega.

Grandmother to Caroline Karimi,Anthony Mutiga, Purity Stegeman, Chelsea Stegeman, Chloe Stegeman, Chris Gitonga, Keziah Muthamia, Charlotte Isabella (Aurora IL) Mark Bundi, Rooney Mwiti, Teddy Kimathi, Queen Roshel, Hilda Kawira, Luige Mugambi, Neema Mwendwa, Ginger Mureithi, Graham Muthoni, Sharon Buuri, Rooney Buuri, Sharon Nkirote,Yvonne Nkirote, Kendi Kiogora. Great-grandmother to Shanice Keira, Israel, Sean, Logan,Athena,Tanmon, Mc Reign, Miaa, Kyle & Wesley. She was an aunt, cousin and friend to many in Kenya, Europe and the USA.

There will be a funeral service on Friday 8th July, 2022 at the family farm in Kiambuthia Village Naromoru.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Bula Pesa, Isiolo.
