STEPHEN MBURU MAHIA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Stephen Mburu Mahia that occurred on Monday 5th April 2021 after a short illness. The deceased hailed from Nyaga village, Kihumbuini, Gatanga, Murang’a County.

Husband to Sarah Njeri Mburu, father to Dr. Jane Wanjiku Kuria (Directorate of Vet Services), Lucy Nyambura (Posta Kenya), George Mahia (Oshwal Academy), Alex Njoroge (Fiscal Financial Consulting) and Judy Wangui (Boucher Interior Decors). Father-in-law to Jackim Kuria, Mercy Muthoni (KNH), Jane Mwendwa and Joel Wambugu (Walker Kontos). Grandfather to Michael Githinji, Joyce Wangari, June Mumo, Allan Mburu, Loren Mburu, Michelle Njeri, Ian Mburu, Abigail Njeri, Kirsten Warnbui, Erin Njeri, Natalia Njeri, Nicole Nkatha and Ivan Mburu. Brother to late Francis Ndung’u, Joshua Ndagi, late Joyce Wangui, Bernard Njoroge, Solomon Chege, Peter Ngugi and Agnes Wairimu.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Thika Road, tomorrow Tuesday, 13th April 2021 at 8:00 a m. The burial and requiem mass will take place at his home In Nyaga Kihumbuini, Gatanga, Murang’a County at 10:00 a.m.
