SURVEYOR PETER KAPANGA WERUNGA

3rd March 1973 – 27th July, 2023

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of our beloved Peter Kaparnga Werunga (Director – Kapanga Land Surveys), which occurred at Kenyatta National Hospital on 27th July 2023 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son to the late Martin Werunga Kapanga of the Basonge clan and Temtila Namachanja Werunga of the Baschongoli clan.

Loving husband to Purity Igandu Kapanga. A doting father to Benson Munata, Patience Namachanja, Prince Emmanuel Mumu, and Praise Ruth Chilande.

Beloved brother to Meshack Juma, Mary Nelima, David Wanyonyi, Judith Mukamani, Titus Nabangi, Ambrose Wamalwa, Arinota Namanya, Alphonse Baraza, and Frida Nakhumicha.

Grandfather to Breena Namachanja Kapanga.

Son-in-law to the late Selestino Njoka and RuthWegoki Njoka. Brother in law to james,justa,Elizabeth, Jeremy, Evangeline, Ezekiel, the late Lydia, Cecily, Catherine, Sarah, Christine,Valarie, Mercy, and Faith. Nephew, cousin, uncle, and grandfather to many.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at his home in Ngoingwa estate, Thika from 5:30 Pm.

There will be a meeting at Shuhan Hotel, Thika on Friday, 4th August 2023 at 5:30 Pm and a Fundraiser at St. Bernadette Catholic Church — Ngoingwa, Thika on Sunday, 6th August 2023 at 2:30Pm.

The cortege departs Kenyatta University Funeral Home along Thika Road on Wednesday 9th August 2023 at 7:00am for a requiem mass at St. Bernadette Catholic Church — Ngoingwa, Thika at 10:30am.

The funeral service will be held at his home in Khachonge village, Bungoma County on Friday 11th August 2023.
