TERESIA NYAMBURA KARURU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Teresia Nyambura Karuru, from Miguta Village, Githunguri, Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late Kimani wa Kangere and the late Esther Wambui Kimani (Njoguu). Sister of the late Joyce Wangari Mbugua, the late Hiram Mwaura Kimani, the late Priscilla Njeri Timothy, the late John Ngata Kimani, Simon Gathuru Kimani, and Stephen Gachuki Kimani.

Wife of Paul Karuru Njombai. Mother of the late Njeri, Peter Njombai, the late Wambui, the late Kimani, and Michael Karuru (Parliament). Mother-in-law of Hannah Njeri Njombai and Naomi Matheri (National Treasury). Grandmother of Ruth and Joseph Chege, Teresia and Wilson Njoroge, Caroline and Samuel Komu, Gloria Nyambura, Abigail Nyambura and Elianna Njeri. Great-grandmother of Peter Chege, Christine Komu, George Njoroge, among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home, Miguta village, at 4:00pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Monday, 1st November, 2021 at 9:00am.

Funeral service will be held at the Holy Spirit Miguta Catholic Church, Githunguri, Kiambu, at 11:00am and interment will follow shortly thereafter at her home next to Miguta Secondary School.
