VITALIS PETER LUKIRI

It is with great sadness that we announce the demise of Vitalis Peter Lukiri, the former chairman of Afya Sacco & a Retired Senior Public Health Officer at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(JKIA). He passed away on 16/09/2021 at Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.

Son of the late Samuel Bududu Lukiri & Maria Lukiri. Nephew of Ernest Pamba, Kanoti Bududu, Osiamula, Isabela and others. Son-in-law of the late Francis Walumbe & Petronila Walumbe. Beloved husband of Hilda Akinyi Walumbe Lukiri. Beloved father of Kimberly (Kim) Lukiri & Quincy Lukiri.

Brother of the late Margaret Lukiri, Yuanina Lukiri, Fredrick Lukiri, Emma Lukiri, Patrick Omondi, Philip Lukiri, the late Lawrence Adich, Christopher Lukiri and Denis Lukiri (USA). He was brother in law of Albert Walumbe, Festus Walumbe, Agnes Nabiswa, Lilian Amanya, Tobisca Otieno Lukiri, Beril Wafula, Roshel Ojala & Kizito Wanjala.

Uncle of Joyce, Michael Wanjala, Rita, Cynthia, Allan, Michael Lukiri, Kizito, Gabriel, Norbert, Ashley, Felix,Victor, Leon, Jayden among others.

Family & Friends are meeting daily for funeral & burial arrangements at his home in Busia, Reeds Hotel in Rongai and at Garden Square on Tuesdays &Thursdays from 4.30pm.

A fundraising to carter for funeral expenses will be held on Wednesday September 29th 2021 at Garden Square, Nairobi from 4pm.

Requiem mass will take place on Thursday 30th September 2021 at 2.00pm at Holy Family Bascilica The Late Vitalis Lukiri will be laid to rest on October 2nd at his home in Emalaya Village, Samia sub-county, Funyula Constituency.
