WESLEY MUTEGI LMWARA

It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of a Legend and Patriarch Wesley Mutegi lmwara who was promoted to glory on 16th September, 2021 at his home in Nkabu Village (Kirege), Tharaka Nithi County.

Beloved husband to Florence Muthoni Mutegi. Loving father to Dr. James Kinyua, Newton Muchiri, Dr. Edwin Mwiti, Doreen Kathambi and Jacqueline Mwende. He was the father-in-law to Dr. Julia Kinyua, Esther Muchiri, Purity Mwiti, Arch Philip Lenjo and Ken Gatobu. He was a grandfather to 14.

He was the first-born son and the third born to the family of the late Samuel M’Imwara Maiti and the late Joyce Ciangara M’Imwara. He was brother of Juliet Ciankurungu Njeru, the late Lydia Ciambuba Nkanabo, Jotham Niue, the late Harriet Ciambaka lguna, Leah Ciagitari, Junius Njoka, the late Erastus Njoka, Lonah Kaari Kathuni, Reverend Ephantus Mbaka, Captain Jescah Kagendo Mbaka, Medrine Ciamutegi, David Gitonga, the late Henry Murithi, Patrick Micheni, Silvia Karimi Kirimi and Hudson Mbae.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Nkabu Village (Kirege), Mugwe location, Chuka Division, Tharaka Nithi County from 4.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Lampedusa funeral home in Chuka for a funeral service to be held on Friday 24th September 2021 at PCEA Kirege church and burial in his Nkabu village farm.
