It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Agnes Kinya Mwongera, formerly Headteacher of Kathigiririni Primary School – Tharaka Nithi County, on 13th November, 2021. She hails from Kiathandi village, Kanyira Sub-location, Runogone Location, Kiathandi Division, Imenti North Sub-county, Meru County.

The second born daughter of Mr & Mrs. Festus Mworia. Daughter-in-law of Mr and Mrs Samson Mutema. Wife of Amos Mwongera Mutema (Principal Gathiru High School, Kiambu County). Mother of Rehema Gatwiri and Nehema Kendi of Precious Bonanza Academy, Chuka. Sister of Maurice Mukaria and Lilian Makena Mathenge. Sister-in-law of Michael Mathenge, Morris Mugambi, Fridah Mutema, Joan Nkirote, Lilian Wanja, Doris Kanana, Daniel Kaimenyi and Moses Muthomi.

Aunt of Jim Reeves Kanyi Mathenge, Melody Gakii, David Kathurima, Vivian Makena, Eddy Mutua, Abigail Mwendwa, Velma Mukami, Brian Kirima, Willy Otim, Hadassah Apila, Tiffan Muume, amongst others. A cousin to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers & burial arrangements, from 5:00pm, at their Kiathandi Home.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday I 9th November, 2021, at 9:00am, for a funeral service at MCK Runogone Church, followed by burial at their Kiathandi home, Kanyira Sub-location, Runogone Location, Kiathandi Division, Imenti North Sub-county, Meru County.

We loved you so much but God loved you more. In our hearts you will forever remain.
