ALICE LYDIA OKAYA ODIGAH ALUSA

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved one Madam Alice Lydia Okaya Odigah Alusa, that occurred on 14th of February. She was a retired teacher: Milele Primary School.

Wife of Mwalimu Douglas Odigah Alusa. Daughter of the late David Otanga and the late Rev Lizzie Atero. Daughter-in-law of the late Thomas Alusa, Esther Edebe and Mama Philista Ongaya Alusa. Mother of Hazel Esther Edebe, David Musiega, Michael Bulimo, Oliver Thomas Alusa and Aggrey Muduya. Grandmother of Daystar, Thomas, Denzel, Leonel, Denson, Kelly and Elton. Mother-in-law of Joseph Wamalwa, Emma Muzame, Mercy Muyoma and Sarah Sifuma. Basanji of the late Francis and Judith Waswa, George and Beatrice Muzame, Joseph and Violet Muyoma and Johnson and Jane Sifuma.

Sister of the late Hellen Awinja, the late Margaret Amimo, Jared Kamau, Rose Atieno Ligami, Sarah Omukosia, the late Kenneth Andai and the late Moses Opija. Cousin of Susana, Miriam, Jackline, Rosa, Omuhanga, Ojoi, among others. Aunt of Allan, Ken, Brenda, Laura, Faith Vike, Ian, Derrick and Caro, among others. Sister-in-law of the late Estmoah Dan, Hosea, the late Kichamu, Hellen, Pam, Joseph, Josiah, Mackline, Judy and Everlyne. Mwalikhwa of Priscilla, Gladys, Mary, Aglen and Evelyn Wekesa Alusa. In-law of Mr Solomon Navulu and Leonard Avugwi.

The cortege leaves Kiminini Cottage Hospital Mortuary, on Monday 22nd February, at 2.00pm, for overnight stay at her Matunda home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 23rd February, at their Matunda home, followed by her interment.
