It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the Death of Mr. Benjamin Mwaura Macharia, after a long battle with cancer; which occurred on 6th July, 2021, at Consolata Hospital Kyeni in Embu County.

Son of the late Nathaniel Macharia Mwaura and the late Molly Wamuyu Macharia. Son-in-law of the late Johnson Nganga Kiriaigi and the late Florence Njeri Nganga, Loving Husband of Jane Wambui Mwaura. Loving Father of Nathaniel Macharia Mwaura (ICEA LION), Florence Njeri Mwaura, the late Molly Wamuyu Mwaura, John Nganga Mwaura, Douglas Munyori Mwaura, Maurine Wangari Mwaura, Grace Nyambura Mwaura. Father-in-law of Elizabeth Wanjuhi Macharia, Charles Karathe, Jescah Kagendo, Peninah Wangari and Benjamin Njuguna.

Brother of Mary Muthoni Gakobo, the late Douglas Munyori, Gad Mutura, Jamwel Kamau and Stanley Kimani. Brother-in-law of the late Rufus Gakobo, Benjamin Mwaura Mary Munyori, Hellen Wamoro, Mary Wanjiku, Rahab Washuka, Grace Kabura, Charles Ngaruiya, the late Macharia Issac Wairegi, the late Wanjiku Nganga, Rosemary Wanjiru, Beatrice Wanjiru, Eliud Kinyanjui and Joseph Mwago.

Grandfather of Ian Lemayian, lvanna Wambui (Mbunyu), Lance Mwaura, Liana Wambui (Nana), Lemmy Mwangi, Alex Murangiri, Alvina Wambui, Shantel Wambui, Maryann Wangui, Peter Mwangi, Benjamin Mwaura and Yvonne Wamaitha. Uncle to Many.

Family and friends are meeting dally at His Home, at Ndagari village, Manyatta, Embu County and Theta Hotel Kenyatta Road, All Saints Cathedral (Monday 12/07/2021, at 5.00pm), for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Wednesday 14/07/2021, for the burial and funeral service on the same day, at 10.30am, In his farm Gituara, Kirigi VIllage, Klanjokoma, Embu County.
